Huyton Asphalt Ltd considers Corporate Responsibility as a high priority in the Company work ethics. We endeavour to constantly monitor and review our moral, ethical and legal obligations relating Health, Safety and the Environment.

We employ a Health & Safety Manager who has over 12 years experience in the Construction industry and has qualifications in Health & Safety in addition to Road Construction qualifications. Huyton Asphalt Ltd also employs the services of an external consultant.

The constant training of our employees is of paramount importance, all of our operatives are CSCS accredited and those operating plant are CPCS/NPORS accredited. In addition, most operatives have achieved NVQ level 2 in Road Construction.
All works are undertaken by competent personnel; permanent on-site supervision; first-aider and well-maintained plant and equipment along with site inspections/audits by Management and Safety Department. This all contributes to high standard of work and the positive Health & Safety Culture within our business.

• Operational & Maintenance Literature for inclusion in the Clients Health & Safety files
  

Our Company’s culture and work ethics has ensured our continual accreditation and compliance with the requirements of CHAS, SSIP and Construction-Line. Our own CDM Policy also contributes to meet the needs of all of our Clients Health & Safety targets and objectives.
